I'm working on putting a plan of exercise and healthy eating together and trying to figure out how best to fit both together. If you're exercising in the morning should you eat a meal before, and if so, how long before? Or should you just eat an energy bar and get right into the exercise? And if you're exercising at night should you do it before dinner or after? And again how long should you wait after a meal before you exercise?

I exercise at night usually right around dinner time. I eat a tiny bit of fruit and take a shot of lemon flaxseed oil and some agave nectar to fuel my workout and then have a protein shake immediately afterwards. I usually eat a small salad or something like that about an hour later. Everyones different though, also I think the type of workout you do would be a factor.
